Treasure Valley Youth Theater wins $10,000

Autumn 2016 Giving Event

Charity event gives small local non-profit $10,000
By: Lacey Darrow | Sep 22, 2016

100+ People Who Care Ada County is the first charity event of its kind here in the Treasure Valley, and the premise behind it is very simple. At least 100 people with $100 a piece gather for a dinner. The dinner is provided free of charge by outside sponsors. There they hear short presentations from five different non-profits and then the same 100 people get to vote on the non-profit they would like to see be given a total of $10,000.

Member Spotlight

What inspired you to join 100ADA?
I am proud to be a Charter Member of 100ADA.  The vision statement of my firm, Starlifter Wealth Management, is to Transform Our Community Through Education and Charity.  Being a part of a giving-circle like 100ADA is important to me personally and professionally.  As a Charter Member, I was fortunate to nominate my favorite local charity, Treasure Valley Youth Theater, and overjoyed when they were selected as the winning charity at the Fall Event.  Thanks to 100ADA, my friends, clients, and business associates are able to enjoy a fun event and contribute to our wonderful community.
